A small town of 30,000 inhabitants, Menton is located 8 km to the east of Monaco and 20 km from Nice
on the Italian border near Ventimiglia.
Menton is not just a well-known seaside town, but is also an old and magnificent baroque town. Its 17th century citadel at the entrance to the old port houses the Cocteau Museum, an artist who is omnipresent in Menton.
